BILL's XMAS LIGHT SHOW TOUR. bcmeikle@shaw.ca

Well I put my first movie up on the web in 1995, and I've written software for qt movie makers ever since then,
but its been a long and sometimes lonely struggle until this year.

Mostly for that first decade I hung with apple engineers, and still photographers, and dreamed of when the
other people would show up...

I mean they're both great groups of people in their own way, but 2005 was the year I began to notice
some people with actual linear film-making talent show up on the web. Creative, funny, irreverent, with
skill in linear arts like writing, music, and theatre... My people!

For about five years I've flailed at a christmas card movie, but I get honorable mention for
at least getting something up this year .

Also Jook (a photographer, and one of my users) made a great pano ...

Songs to wear pants to did this little thing from the back of a van ...

ZeFrank made his cool Santa Aint fat ... song. I'm glad to hear him make
some produced music. That guy has a great toolset right in his living room...

I guess this is one of my favorites... Jonathon Coulton took
a bunch of public domain images off the web and made a song to them...
If the coolest thing about the web is collaboration, this movie really
shows it well...

Then there's a guy I've worked for in Germany, and known on the web
for about a decade. Tilman Hample.
This movie is awsome.   my favorite shot is when the climbers jump in
the window. That's Tilman who cleans himself off, then he checks his
wallet. I know how he feels. This is a movie with a budget!

I made no effort to be comprehensive...search google or ifilm or anything.
These are just the movies that crossed my desktop... but RING OUT THE BELLS!
The creatives are here!
