Ladybug 2 shots

This is spherical video -You need flash 9 to see it. Once a movie opens, drag the mouse over it to pan...you can look all the way up and most of the way down.

NEW! check out some of these movies in h264 with the new flash...

SPAIN

I went down and met Ignacio Ferrando in Zaragoza... They are having

Expo 2008

Hey Ignacio! This shot where you walked by a bunch of waterfalls worked after all!

FRANCE

Gite. This was a cool cottage we rented out in the country for a week in France. It was like a tiny castle from the 1600s  with a pool.

L’Eyzies A drive through of this  tiny village. It is partly built into the cliffs beside it...

SWITZERLAND

ALPS this shot is really big, I don’t really expect you to watch it all...

it has snow capped mountains (which remind us of home) a switchback and a tunnel... I just couldn’t bring myself to compress it smaller...it wasn’t the nicest day, and as a smaller file, you can’t really see the mountains against the sky...

VENICE

Gondola 2. The classic venice moment, paddling through the channels of Venice in a Gondola.

Gondola12. Out in the largest Channel in the Gondola. You can see the bridge at Rialto which has stores on it...

Pigeons. Jasmine gets a few too many Pigeons on her arms etc. in  San Marco Square...

ROME

Made this shot with Jason Villmer driving... The cartop shot is herein perfected...

Rome2. Jason is working with compression on these shots. This one is half the size, but it plays back a little too fast...

EGYPT

Got lucky and made this cool shot of the pyramids from a taxi window. The driver, Abdul, helped a lot in getting the gear through the gates with appropriate ‘gifts’ to the guards there... nice.

SOUTH AFRICA

David Connely in Sydney put together the shot we took down there with the simple branch. You go down the hall and can choose to go right or left..this opens a ton of possibilities. Thanks to Jason Villmer at Lucid...

Giraffes in a herd. We drove for several days through the game parks with the tripod out a window and high above the car. The ladybug has no zoom feature (a disabled one in the software may come soon) so it’s really not much of a wildlife cam. Here we came into a herd of giraffe. Big animals I hope you can find 4. Btw the ecosystem seemed different to me... Yo used to see a single giraffe running with zebra and wildebeest

now they were in herds... For great shots from my wife’s nikon d300 with a zoom, check sue’s albums above..

Elephant Charge in Kruger Park. My theory is that the park is a little elephant heavy right now, as in our 8 day safari we saw more elephants than zebra! The elephants tear down trees and really bring the amount of foliage down, so I think a few are going to need to be transferred to other parks in africa..

SEYCHELLES

Praslin Cartop. The thing that makes the seychelles special is the beautiful granite structure to the islands. Here there are also some places where the trees cover the road that I thought looked cool. (We had bad weather though, unfortunately)

Aldabra Tortoises  on Curieuse island. These land based tortoises are only found on the Galapagos and the Seychelles. On the farthest out Atoll in the Seychelles called Aldabra there are almost 100.000 of them, but the other islands are cleared out. Sailors found them handy food to keep on board boats alive for 3 months until the meat was needed...

BALI

Monkey Forest. in Ubud.

A special hotel room with a 3 foot iguana in the bathroom, and dolphins playing in the pool below. (Melika Excelsior in Lovina) I was sick for a week in Bali, so this was just me playing with another headtop rig (a suction cup) trying to get rolling again...

AUSTRALIA

Need more clarity? Jason Villmer, an American living in Italy is writing this  flash player. Check the helicopter shot and the aquarium. (after the first pano has fully loaded the red circle will turn into a green one, when clicked it will reveal a list of panos to look at...)

Experimenting with David Connely one, two, three. The zip file of all of it if you want to try...

Kangaroos at Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo.

a Gold Coast Cartop shot.  This movie was created with the help of Aaron Spence.

The Sydney Opera House.. with some music I bought off some street musicians there...

the sydney aquarium. Seals.

The Sydney Aquarium. Look up to see sharks a manta ray and a turtle...

Jon Summers and his wife Alana have built themselves a new home in the Grampians on 20 acres. He is a fellow programmer, we’ve worked together on qtvr code for over 10 years now...

Parrots on the Wilson Promontory We had 6 around us but in this little shot my wife had one...

A great helicopter shot in Melbourne Australia. Thanks to John Wood my local accomplice with this shot...

FIJI

Birds.  a Shot of some endangered Banded Rails.

Talk We just missed a cyclone so we had some rainy days, I worked out a way to do lip synch sound in a spherical video.

Talking To Buttons episode 91. Used the lip synch technique to do a video blog entry in my interactive video blog. (not all kid friendly)

Oarsman Bay Beach A simple shot in front of our bure at oarsman...

aboard the Yasawa Flyer, the fast catamaran that services the islands near Nadi

HAWAII

The first shot was in waikiki

The second shot was of a waterfall in the Kona Sheraton.

This shot was my first try at  capturing the surf in hawaii.

First try at human POV shot

This shot is an outtake I kept. I was experimenting with strapping the ladybug onto my head and walking around.

A tumbling river near Hilo on the Big Island. I recorded some sound too and added it.

A windy day at black sand beach on the southern end of the Big Island. We drove all the way around that island...

Koi this movie was made on the last day in hawaii before we flew out to fiji.

Waikiki Busy Street. A bit big at nine meg but lots of motion...
